on tuesday, sitting by flathead lake, i got to see a bald eagle fly by. fairly close. such a magnificent bird.
wednesday, on the going to the sun road, i got to see a moose for the first time. (just for you, kevin) it was just like in the smokies, everybody stopped their cars, got out with cameras, causing traffic jambs. another advantage of riding a bicycle. same thing happened much higher up on the road, again cars pulled over, cameras out. this time for a mountain goat.
never saw a bear, black or grizzly. never saw an elk. or wolves.
