Packing

Finally, we're getting down to it.  We had our last dinner in portland tonight.  Pizza and beer, special request.  Jim and his daughter, erin, and her fiance, john, came up on the mountain top and joined us.  As well as matt's daughter, anne.  This carbo loading is going to be the end of me. I need to do some unloading.
I started packing tonight.  Hopefully there is a picture embedded that shows my gear.  It's a common question:  we travel self contained.  We have sleeping bag and pad and tent.  Clothes:
  (3) shorts.  2 for riding/ 1 regular
  (3) shirts, short sleeve for riding
  (1) shirt, long sleeve
  (3) prs of socks
  (2) bandanas
  (1) pair of riding shoes
  (1) pair of sandals  ( sorry maurice, i could not bring myself to wear flip flops.  The sandals are light, but a little bulky.  they'll go on the outside)
  (1) rain jacket
Then there are some tools, stove, dishes, towels, cleaning supplies, washing devices, various creams, sketchbook, tablet, and other misc stuff.
This will all fit in rear paniers, a handle bar bag, and the tent strapped on the rear rack.  Traveling light.
