i think i'm far enough along now that i can start thinking about longer schedule. i've decided i need to make a detour down to chicago and see my mother. suzi will probably come up at the same time. paul and maurice can get a feel for timing down the road:
tomorrow, fri, 7/26, i will stay in grand forks, nd. then i will cross the border into minnesota.
7/27-7/31, 5 days, 350 mi., through minnesota
8/1-8/4, 320 mi., to appleton, wisconsin and guido's home.
8/5 take train to chicago (amtrack runs from appleton to chicago for $49), return on 8/9
a week for michigan
a week for canada
potentially at niagara/buffalo around 8/26
Potentially at albany around labor day 9/2.
and finish in boston the following week.
home in time for the us v mexico game.
